Assignment

The client was looking for a way to increase drying capacity while reducing energy consumption. The solution also needed to be reliable and ready for future growth.

Solution

Based on a series of meetings and site visits in Sweden as well as at KATRES production in Jihlava, we designed a custom timber kiln tailored to the specific operation. Scope of delivery:

• technical design
• kiln manufacturing
• complete installation and commissioning
• integration of DryTech technology

Implementation

The project was developed step by step from the first meeting at a trade fair to final installation. A strong focus was placed on smooth integration and reliable start-up.

Result

The kiln is now running at full capacity and delivers:

• increased drying capacity
• improved energy efficiency
• consistent drying quality

We stay in touch and support our clients even after commissioning – from service to day-to-day operation support.

Project JK Wood – Finland

Implementation

The contract was signed in June 2025. Thanks to good coordination and experienced installation teams, the project was completed on schedule despite challenging conditions.

The project was completed in approximately 6 months from contract signing to handover. The installation and start-up were carried out according to schedule.
