Company KATRES belongs to world leading wood kiln dryers producers. Standardly offer more than 100 varieties of conventional timber drying kilns with various capacity. Of course individually constructed dryers according to the client’s requirements are producing.

KATRES Ltd. deal with development and production of drying kilns and drying technology since 1991, further then production of chemical wood preservatives and finger joint glued elements. Company was established by specialists on hydrothermic adaptation and protection of wood, who stands behind the dynamic development and success of KATRES. We cooperate with native and foreign experts in the research and development area, which makes us possible to benefit from latest knowledges and trends in artificial wood drying area.

Since its formation, the company has produced and built several thousand of drying chambers in the Czech Republic and abroad, and has become, in a short period of time, one of the leading world producers of kiln dryers to the timber industry. More than 60 varieties of conventional drying chambers with capacities from 4 to 240 m³ of timber in basic range. This series is complemented with individually constructed dryers according to the client’s requirements, including specially designed sterilising equipment for thermal treatment of packaging materials in accordance with the international standard ISPM 15 treatment.

We´re members of  Czech Woodworking Machinery Manufactures Association - SVDSZ. Woodworking technology Made in Czech Republic.

KATRES drying kilns are produced according to EU regulations and company is authorized to use the CE brand on our products.

For reasons of specific feature market company is also holder of certificate of conformity for Russia and Ukraine area.
